Welcome to my website!
I am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. I completed my doctoral degree in Public Policy (Management, Leadership, and Decision Science Area) at Harvard University.
At the core of my research is a central question: How do emotions influence decision-making, and how can we harness this understanding to help individuals and organizations thrive? To address this, I pursue two interrelated lines of inquiry. First, I advance a contingency framework for understanding when and why positive emotions aid or hinder decision-making, challenging the assumption that they are uniformly beneficial. Second, I work toward a contingency framework for emotion regulation by identifying scalable intervention strategies—recently with a focus on AI—and the conditions under which they most effectively promote well-being, performance, and communication.
I'm on the 2025-2026 academic job market.
